The pictures don't do it justice - it is simple, yet elegant with its delicate sequins and embroidery. It is soft with a lining and a good quality dress. I wish it came to my shoes in length, but at 5'5" it comes to the lower calf. It is still attractive, however. I also had wished to see pictures of the back prior to purchasing, but wasn't disappointed - it is cute with its lace-up design (kind of like a shoestring), over a delicate elasticized gathering of the fabric, tying at the top. I purchased it to wear at my beach wedding.

Material is nice to touch, it is relatively light and veeeery confortable. I was worried that it would be too thin, but it's double layered so no "see through" issues. Love the simplicity of it. Very cute.
