I once saw a designer gown that was the same color with the draped bust and I fell in love with it. When I saw this dress and this price, I knew that I was going to wear it next year! (We live overseas and decided to order really early so there's no stress :]) We ordered the turquoise color and it's stunning, shimmery but not cheap. (Looks great with silver heels!) The angel wing paneling is a nice touch, though there are some threads poking out (we can take car of that, though). I'm a 36 bust, a 30 waist and a 36 hip, a true size 6, and the large fit me like it was tailored! We might get the middle taken in a tiny bit to show off an hourglass figure, but it looks amazing as is! It just needs a pressing and then it's good to go. The draped bust is very elegant and lovely, and this dress is very much designed to show off an hourglass figure. Since my measurements are somewhat unusual, i ordered this in the 2X size, and once i'd tried it on, it fit well enough to keep, so i had it altered by my favorite tailor. That does make the overall $$$ i spent go up significantly, but since the dress is so affordable to begin with, it's really not an issue, and the tailoring made the dress fit beautifully. This really is so simply, lovely and elegant. No, it isn't expensive, and i don't think anyone who really knows how to spot someone who spent megabucks on her dress would be fooled, but who cares? Some of us have to be careful with our budgets, and if that's you (like me), then this dress is wonderful, because even if it needs extensive alterations, you're still in the "affordable" range.
