This dress came with straps (that you attach yourself) and a shawl. It was just the right length and my daughter wore it for many hours and said it was comfortable. We ordered the 2x size based on the charting and the advice on the website and it was a good thing we did. The 2x was slightly big in the chest area but it really didnt' matter because the dress fit perfectly in all the other areas. We were very pleased with the purchase and we could not beat it at $90.00. Also the shipping estimate time was right on the money. The funny part is it came in such a small box I thought there can't possibly be a dress in there but it was! Also I had the dressed steamed for $6.00 and we were set. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable for wearing for a long time. However, be careful when measuring--I am 5'6'' and ordered a Medium, and the dress hit at my ankle bone rather than the floor as I had thought it would. It is impossible to alter the length because of the way the hem is constructed, though the bust/waist look as if they could be done. Those measurements were very true to the chart for me and so I did not need to ask about bust/waist alterations.
