While this dress looks elegant..it photographs like a shiny nylon parachute. Pros: Elegant design, shipped super fast, added bonus..a matching shawl and a real high quality satin sash, and the company is very professional about handling concerns about their products. Cons: The dress is cheaply made (super cheap nylon taffeta material, no hook at the top of the bodice to secure the zipper), sized for a misses fit (not well suited for shorter people 5'4 and under), and the bodice has wire stays that stab you in the ribs when you sit. The Ivory one. In the picture it has a black ribbon around the waiste. When i got it, it came with an ivory ribbon. I ordered it because i liked the contrast. I e-mailed and i e-mailed but no respond. It was rediculous. So i finally got fed up and called. They sent a new ribbon right away. The only problem was the ribbons are frayed on the ends. They do not sow them, so they can come unraveled. The dress is beautiful. It looks great! comes with straps and a wrap. I had to have to dress taken up because it was too long, but i am short. The size chart was perfect for me. It fits great. It doesnt slide down, and i can breath. I would totally recommend this dress. If you have any problems, however, do not bother to e-mail. The vendor will not respond. Just call. |
