I am very happy with the shipping time. The dress is gorgeous and is very nicely made. It has a full inner lining. I ordered this in silver and it looks very elegant. Sizing is true to size for a formal gown. I typically wear a 10 or 12 in everyday dresses so I ordered this in a large. It fit beautifully. As all gowns, it was too long for me (5'5") but I had it hemmed. It does have a small train in back and I opted to go for a straight hem which made it easier for the seamstress. The dress comes with a scarf and straps which can be sewn on (not hooked). I came across this gown, and although there were not yet any reviews or measurements, I took a chance on it, smitten with its old-Hollywood glamor. My risk paid off! The dress arrived in 3 days (w/o expedited shipping) and the dress fit like a glove. I'm 5'9", 153 lbs, 36C, normally a size 8 or 10. The medium was perfect! The quality was excellent, the draping beautiful. I received so many compliments on the gown and felt fabulous and Oscar-worthy for under $100! My only caveat is that there is a bit of a train on the dress, so be prepared to lift it up while in crowded rooms or to have it stepped on a lot. Finally one night I was goofing around on the internet and fell upon this dress on pacificplex.com. When I saw the price I was sold instantly. I got it in red and in a size medium. I typically wear a size 4-6 in dresses but I thought this dress would have been extremely form fitting in the hip area and my hips fall into the size 8-10 bracket. But to my surprise the dress fits a little loose on top and even looser in the hips. A size small would have probably been a perfect fit. Normally I am nervous about ordering reds online out of fear of receiving a fire engine red but to my surprise it was the perfect ruby red. This dress definitely outshines all of the $150 dresses I tried on in person. I would definitely order from pacific plex again. Great quality buy and fast shipping! |
