I did have to exchange it for a larger size, but the seller was very prompt in making the exchange, let me know by email when they had recieved it and shipped the replacement, and I was delighted with their service. I will be wearing the dress to play in symphony. It is exactly the combination of elegance and comfort that I want, and meets the "concert black" requirements for women: full length, 3/4 or longer sleeves, all black. When I opened the package I was surprised, a flimsy light weight plastic bad held it in place. Then the process of trying it on, my daughter was even surprised that it didn't FIT so we re-wrapped it and sent it back in yet another Size Larger! It shouldn't be "Rocket Science" to order a dress in the size you would normally wear only to have to EXCHANGE it at least Twice, and Hopefully it will FIT the nest time around. As for the other comments, I also agree that the Under slip is very very thin, you will NEED some form of SUPPORT SLIP beneath it. Then Hopefully it won't show Any Bumps or Lumps....Hoping that when I finally get the next size that it will fit well. The skirt, however, besides being to short for me (I am 6' tall)is so thin that all undergarment marks show through. What a shame - if the skirt material were heavier and had some body, it would be a great dress that I could have cut to tea length. It would have been my choice for sure! I would recommend you buy one size up than you normally do for clothing. |
