The back part is zip-up and if you're not the exact chart measurement, then it will need to be altered. A shawl is included. It was shipped immediately after purchase, however, I did not understand why the cost of the dress was written higher than sold. Reason why I mention this is because I am a buyer from Canada, and so the price of the dress affects the custom fee amount. I paid an extra $50.13 CAD for custom fee. Shipping price for the dress was $73 USD and so the price of shipping was costly. This review is from: Ball Gown Strapless Formal Prom Wedding Dress #2567 (Apparel) This beautiful dress arrived on time, the only thing I wished I would have paid more attention to was the fact they mentioned dresses are smaller than regular department store dresses and my daughter bought a 4 instead of a 6 so we had to make a mad dash to the tailors and she was on a wrestler's diet for a week. It was absolutely stunning though! Thank you so much! This review is from: Ball Gown Strapless Formal Prom Wedding Dress #2567 (Apparel) I love this dress and it looks fantabulous! haha i ordered it for my Senior Prom this year and it came in abour 5 days after confirming my order. All that has to be done to it is a little alteration to the "bust" area,which has to be done in most dresses for me anyway! :P I just love how the burgundy look and the beadwork is whimsical! I feel like i'm wearing something scarlett o'harah would wear in "Gone with the Wind"! Its so elegant and very lady-like!Its very its a beautiful,and so affordable!Compared to most dresses of this quality,its pretty cheap! I totally reccomend this dress to anyone else out there!
