I guess I should've read the dimensions because it's really small and I was planning to use it to hang in the canopy at my daughter's birthday. When you put the batteries into the little case you may have to shake it a bit to get them to connect but after I did that they've worked beautifully and are adorable strung up along the mantle in my living room.
